Every Reason to Run

Tyson Williams has one job: protect his siblings. It’s the last thing his father asked before he died in Tyson’s arms ten years ago.

So when fifteen-year-old Darlene comes home beaten and broken, Tyson goes looking for the boy who did it. By morning that boy is dead, and the whole neighborhood swears Tyson pulled the trigger.

Now he’s running from police who want him for murder, a gang that wants him silenced, and a secret buried in his father’s past that someone will kill to keep.

Darlene carries her own weight: a betrayal she can’t take back, and the one clue that might bring her brother home before it’s too late.

Some loyalties cost everything. Some reasons are worth running for.
